This painting is part of a recent body of work called “Passages.” These pieces are pathways from different moments in my life, some inspired by actual places, others by memories or by glimpses of an emotion that I am trying to catch. Events over the past couple of years have brought new questions and transitions, and now more than ever I want to give space for contemplation in my life and in my work, to slow the world down, to breathe deeply, see deeply, think gently, and wonder together what might come next.
