Autumn is my favorite time of the year, especially the few weeks when the aspen leaves are changing colors, and it is the season when I spend most of my time painting outdoors. I love the sense of being surrounded by the forest, embraced inside of it as the colorful leaves fall to the ground. There is a fleeting, almost heartbreaking sense to autumn that reminds me of how quickly and how beautifully time passes.
